I have had a few exhaust system repairs / modifications performed at California Muffler Service (C.M.S.) over the last few years. I have always been very satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship of the work that was performed. The owner/manager Jon Gee is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about high performance and racing automotive exhaust systems.
About half of his work is standard exhaust system repairs & replacement but he also attracts a lot of upper end and high performance cars. He has high quality tube bending equipment and is skilled in using it (mandrel bends up to 3" diameter & stainless steel tube is in stock). Also offered is the availability of fabricating custom, stainless steel exhaust systems. He has fabricated a few polished stainless steel systems (one can be seen on his web page). Jon is trying to build the high performance end of his business and would like to gain more car club visibility.
I just had C.M.S. replace the single 2.25" diameter exhaust on my '86 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with 3" diameter tube & a Vortex muffler. He did a great job and the car now sound quite powerful (just today I was stoplight challenged on three separate occasions). I plan to have him replace my SS exhaust (cat back) with a 3" system as soon as I figure out what mufflers to use. He no longer performs header installs but can custom install the cats and rest of the exhaust system.

California Muffler Service is located in Canoga Park but it is still freeway close. I think that the services of C.M.S. could be an asset to members of the SoCalSS club.
